Honda CR-V MPG

What is the gas mileage on a Honda CR-V?

Determining which Honda CR-V has the best gas mileage

In the highly dynamic automotive market, a surge of car models springs. So analysis will take hours to find a consensus from which an educated decision can be made. And it can be a total headache because you're short on time.

The new Honda CR-V is directed at family individuals who prioritize over all other things space, comfort, and convenience. It is small enough to navigate through tight parking lots yet roomy enough inside to fit five adults comfortably. The rear seat room is incredibly generous. And with its excellent fuel efficiency, it'll be a perfect match for you. How did the CR-V become the most fuel-efficient SUV in the Honda lineup? In this post, we'll discuss it.

The 2021 Honda CR-V is offered in four trim editions - the LX, EX, EX-L, and Touring. All CR-V versions are fitted with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine matched to a gasoline engine paired with a continuously variable automatic (CVT) transmission. An all-wheel-drive system sometimes comes at the expense of a decent fuel economy for many vehicles, particularly SUVs. But it's not about the CR-V! You can get outstanding Honda CR-V gas mileage, even with the all-wheel drive. Below, you'll learn its mpg by configuration and trim edition.

The entry-level LX equipped with front-wheel drive and CVT delivers 28 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined. With all-wheel drive, it can hit 27 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 29 mpg combined.

If you choose the EX version, you'll get the following fuel mpg - with FWD and CVT, the car provides 28 mpg in the city, 34 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined. When AWD and CVT are fitted, it delivers 27 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 29 mpg combined.

The EX-L version with FWD gives you 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. If it's equipped with AWD, it produces 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

The CR-V Touring has the same mpg ratings as the EX-L trim edition - with FWD 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway; with AWD - 27 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

The Hybrid version of the Honda CR-V features regular AWD and electronic continuously variable automatic (eCVT). It produces as much fuel efficiency as the CR-V models powered by gas because of the exclusive hybrid system. The Hybrid comes with AC Synchronous Permanent-Magnet Electric Motor and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that deliver the following mpg figures.

The Hybrid Honda CR-V in all trim editions provides 40 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

After the dust has been settled, we can admit that the Honda CR-V is one of the most fuel-efficient SUV on the market. And if you want the car that delivers excellent fuel economy, it's worth having a place on the shortlist.

BONUS TIP
